Ulster Lodge Motel is family owned and operated. Units are set back from Ulster Street and consequently road traffic noise is reduced. 10 units opened January 2000 and a further 8 units opened May 2008.

Total of 12 studio units, 4 x 1-bedroom units and 2 x 2-bedroom units. Queen-size beds, Sky TV, kitchen facilities throughout and some units with spa baths and/or air-conditioning.

The family superette is adjacent to Ulster Lodge Motel. We are only 400m from city shopping, cafes, restaurants, and Waikato Stadium is only 200m. Within walking distance of Waikato River walking track, Founders Theatre, Seddon Park and golf driving range. Within 10min drive of Waterworld, Hamilton Zoo, Waipa Delta, Claudelands Event Centre, Ruakura Research Centre, Waikato University and Wintec, Te Rapa Racecourse, Waikato Museum, Hamilton Gardens and several shopping complexes.
